Last night, I went to see “Werther”, the Met performance at the movie theater. The performance was magnificent and it is wonderful to be able to see/hear such performances when one lives so far from the Met.
Jonas Kaufman, the tenor has a magnificent voice, and I loved hearing Sophie Koch, and everyone else actually. It was great.
What an opportunity to see a first-class performance right in our home town.
